Despite the differences regarding other Islamic metallic lamps, this specimen shows us certain formal, decorative and technical characteristics that link it to near-eastern productions from the 10th to the 13th centuries; the representation of a bird is also known in bronze incense burners and vases from Anatolia, Iran, Afghanistan, Syria or Egypt from the 11th - 12th centuries."
