No ano de 1981, a C\u00e2mara Municipal de Terras de Bouro deu in\u00edcio \u00e0 sua constru\u00e7\u00e3o consubstanciada no aproveitamento de mat\u00e9ria-prima origin\u00e1ria da aldeia.\r\nA inaugura\u00e7\u00e3o do Museu deu-se a 14 de Maio de 1989.\r\nO povoado, a vida e a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o comunit\u00e1ria agro-silvo-pastoril, o culto religioso, a dia a dia e as lides dom\u00e9sticas, os of\u00edcios tradicionais (o sapateiro, o carpinteiro e o artes\u00e3o), tudo isto \u00e9 retratado neste Museu que deve a sua exist\u00eancia ao desejo e esfor\u00e7o dos antigos habitantes da aldeia.\r\n\r\nThe Ethnographic Museum is a creation manifested by the ancient inhabitants of the extinct community village of Vilarinho das Furnas, highlighting the esteemed commitment of Dr. Manuel Azevedo Antunes. In the year 1981, the Town Hall of Terras de Bouro began its construction consubstanciada in the use of raw material originating from the village.\r\nThe inauguration of the Museum occurred on May 14, 1989.\r\nThe village, life and community organization agro-silvo-pastoril, religious worship, day-to-day and domestic tasks, traditional crafts (cobbler, carpenter and craftsman), all this is portrayed in this Museum that must its existence to the desire and effort of the ancient inhabitants of the village."
