El museo contribuye y apoya a la Comunidad de Leymebamba en la difusi\u00f3n de su patrimonio cultural, as\u00ed como en la creaci\u00f3n de emprendimientos que fomentan el desarrollo educativo y econ\u00f3mico de sus pobladores.\r\n\r\nThe Museo Comunitario Leymebamba is located in the Amazon region, it opened in 2000 and holds more than 200 mummies from the C\u00f3ndores Lagoon as well as archaeological and ethnographic material from the area.\r\n\r\nThe museum\u2019s architecture reflects the local construction traditions and those of the population which contributed to its construction. The museum contributes to and supports the Leymebamba community in the dissemination of its cultural heritage and by creating ventures that promote the educational end economic development of its inhabitants." This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 693669.</dc:description>
