The lightweight aluminum bolt shroud has close-tolerance bottom flats to prevent bolt side play. Gives consistent, cocking piece, sear height for repeatable engagement/release with all factory and aftermarket triggers. Firing pin is fully polished with the tip ground smooth and hardened.
