Skye Ecomuseum is Scotland's only Ecomuseum. Located on the Isle of Skye in the north east of Scotland, itn is managed by Staffin Community Trust. The Skye Ecomuseum has had funding from a variety of European and national sources, including the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF), 10 years ago. Also known as Ceumannan, which is “footsteps” in Gaelic, the project is estimated to have helped attract thousands of extra visitors annually to Staffin and encouraged them to stay longer, which boosts the local economy. El eco-museo de Skye es el único eco-museo de Escocia. Localizado en la Isla de Skye, al noreste de Escocia, es gestionado por la Organización de desarrollo de la comunidad de Staffin. El eco-museo de Skye ha recibido fondos de varias fuentes nacionales y europeas como el UK Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF), hace 10 años.
