This is the easiest way I know of to design a emblem or to just generate ideas art market at hand over to your designer.

Determine if you would like a textual content brand or an illustrative brand, or a combination mark.

Get out a pen and a pad of paper and brainstorm. Think about what your organization does, the way you need to be perceived. What are a few phrases of what you want people to think of when they take a look at your logo? Probably take the enterprise name, divide it up and see what types of pictures come to thoughts for every word. Take these photographs and put them together to see if in case you have one thing you can use.

Google these image words and see what comes up. Search for your type of business and evaluate your ideas to theirs. This is still part of the brainstorming.

Take your best concepts and draw them up roughly in your pad of paper.

Either show your shopper your ideas, of if this is for your self, pick the one you want the perfect and probably add or subtract photos and ideas from the emblem, nonetheless on your paper.

Upon getting the concept, scan it and drop it into illustrator or any other vector drawing software. Trace the image in illustrator and begin adding coloration and texture with totally different brushes and swatches. If there are many modifications, be sure to save a duplicate each step of the way in which, so if you change your mind, you'll be able to go back to the original.

Pick the right font to your emblem, if it is not already incorporated into the design. I have a free program called "free and straightforward font viewer" so I can scroll by means of all the fonts on my computer and see what pops. If I don't like all of them, I sometimes resort to discovering new ones on the internet.

Maintain working at your brand till it seems the best way you need it. Easy huh?

Other designers might use a slightly different technique but I know what works best for me. In case you plan on working with a designer, skip the final three steps and just use this technique to brainstorm.
